Is your child obsessed with Magic?

It’s not a bad thing. Kids need hobbies after all. And as far as options go, magic is really one of the more harmless. Think about it. They get to practice showmanship and performance. All good for public speaking and social interaction. They have to practice and practice. Good for perseverance. And of course, they must practice dexterity and grace… great for building motor skills!

Although, there are the down sides. You’ll have to watch the trick a few dozen times. The rabbit might actually disappear. Things may randomly produce scarves and flowers, or squirt water. It’s okay! That’s part of the show.

At some point, your little Houdini will feel confident enough to put on a show. There will be official construction paper signs, confiscated bed sheets, and plenty of seating for an audience. If this is the case, you might as well make sure you kid is dressed for the occasion! Our Magician Costume ought to do the trick. It’s got a long-tailed black coat with attached shirt and silver vest. There’s a bright red bow tie for their neck and a matching set of pants (magical hats sold separately). In this outfit, they’ll feel every bit the part of a professional magician and no doubt perform astounding and amazing feats. Like making an hour disappear!
