Cannibalistic crocodile men. Photosynthetic seductresses. Psychopathic clowns. Hypnotizing hat enthusiasts? Batman truly keeps the worst company, a big bunch of baddies gone totally bananas in a city of perpetual night. This is not to say that Bats is particularly well-adjusted himself — even with his skill, strength, and intelligence, it’s hard to forget that dressing up like an animal and bludgeoning thugs in alleyways isn’t the most wholesome pastime a guy can have.

Still, if you’re going to go unhinged, it’s always advisable to dress the part for it. Batman has a suit for all occasions. He has a fireproof suit for fighting the pyromaniac Firefly, a toasty insulated suit for squaring off against Doctor Freeze, and even a bat-themed hazmat suit for when he has to spray industrial-strength herbicides. But what if Batman needed a minimalistic suit for speed and comfort, something he could slip on underneath Bruce Wayne’s business attire just to be ready for the worst?

It would probably look something like our Batman 2nd Skin Costume. This stretchy polyester-spandex blend would give the Dark Knight maximum breathability and free range of motion while he pummeled, pounded, and otherwise beat the tar out of anyone who threatened Gotham. This jumpsuit covers the whole body to keep its wearer’s anonymity intact, and its hood is removable so they could still eat pizza if they had to. The cape also detaches in case you need it for a tactical picnic blanket.
