Can we take a moment to appreciate the Simpson family’s exuberant neighbor-eeno? Sure, most Springfield residents steamroll Ned Flanders and his wholesome sentiments—with their words and their skateboards. But perhaps there are more redeeming qualities in Ned than we or Bart usually care to pause and acknowledge.

In a town full of jerks little (Bart), big (Mr. Burns), and less-than-thoughtful (Homer), maybe Ned Flanders is there to reminds us of some good in humanity. He is optimistic, cheerful, and committed to a near-annoying degree. He even dedicated his professional life to helping lefties (looking at you, Bart!) in need of, well, left-handed things. Like can-openers and cars and… erm, nunchucks. Seems to us like a model citizen!

Convinced or not, our officially licensed Ned Flanders mask has eye slots big enough to live vicariously through his rubber latex face and ponder the notion. Whether you identify with Springfield’s pious public figure and hope to bolster your image, or you simply wish to mask your sinful side, we’ll leave judgment up to the all-seeing eyes of Mr. Burns.
