Is your little one always trying to be helpful? It’s sweet even when your would be right-hand man gets in the way. Yes, it’s nice to help unpack groceries. Groot goes through the same struggles when he’s regenerated as baby Groot. Now, we’re not saying it’s not a challenge to raise a child on solid, earthly ground but keeping track of an infantile, anthropomorphic tree while traveling planet to planet via spaceship would be quite difficult. You could be trying to take down a huge Abilisk and your little alien baby is focusing on lightening the mood with some slick dance moves. Everyone agrees that Groot shows plenty of Moxie but we wouldn’t blame Rocket if he missed the days when Groot was rooted to the safety of his pot.  

Isn’t that how childhood works? In the early days, your kiddo is stuck. In the crib, in the playpen and there’s nothing they can do because they can’t walk. Then, they start to gain their footing, pulling up on chairs and tables to see what they can see. They see a world full of possibilities. You see a world of danger and start rescheduling your alien take down sessions.  

This baby Groot costume celebrates those sweet potted days of yore. It’s easy to put on with a simple tunic that slips over your child’s head. The tunic has a black background with a twisted bark pattern in the middle and down the sleeves. The bottom of the tunic is made of a soft silver fabric and is shaped like a pot. The ensemble is topped with a Groot hood fashioned with hook and eye touch strips. These Halloween people will be rooted to the spot by this adorable take on everyone’s favorite alien!
