You’ve noticed in a trend in your daughter’s clothing choices lately. She’s been in to wrap looking things. And bright vivid colors. (Although that isn’t new.) What is new though is the all the Egyptian things. The hieroglyphs. The pyramids. The golden sand color. Those are new.

And you know where she got it from. Monster High of course. Her favorite character of those fashionable Monster ladies is Cleo de Nile. Your girl loves the black haired beauty. She loves the friendships that Cleo has at Monster High. And she loves that Cleo is the leader of the Fear Squad, and her pet cobra: Hissette. Whose hiss we hear is much worse than her poisonous bite. We hope so anyway.

Your little girl can now become the ruler of her school in this Cleo de Nile Costume. She will be writing her homework in ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs because she is “3,357 (give or take a few) years old. Duh!” And she will try to start a Fear Squad at her school…which might actually go over pretty well. There are a lot of kids who like Monster High. Plus this costume will have all the things she has been interested in lately. All those wraps, and vivid colors. Including her new favorite: golden sand. You might want to discourage the writing her homework in hieroglyphs though, most people can’t read it anymore. And including a key doesn’t make it better. (We tried. Our bosses didn’t like it.)
