Cheshire Cat Adult Costume

There’s an old saying that goes “grinning like a Cheshire cat…” And the origins aren’t exactly clear, but as far as historians know, it might have been used to refer to the fact that Cheshire has a lot of dairy farms, and the cats would most likely be grinning due to the excess milk and cream that they would encounter. Lewis Carroll would later refer to this saying to create one of his better known and beloved characters, The Cheshire Cat.

This cat would engage in nonsensical and sometimes philosophical questions with Alice, usually while she was just trying to find her way around the confounding land of Wonderland. This cat has taken many different incarnations since then, but none more well known than the modern day takes from the popular Disney cartoon.
