Ruling the high seas? It’s certainly not all fun and games. It’s a constant battle to make sure your rum supply stays secured while you’re away from port, because no pirate want to be sailing the ocean with an empty cup. You also have to worry about ailments like scurvy, ruthless shipmates who will mutiny if you don’t secure enough doubloons to fill up their chests, and you also have to deal with just what happens, if, in the heat of battle, you intentionally set your own beard on fire. We hope for your sake there is some ointment on board!

Of course, the famed captain of the high seas Blackbeard conquered all these challenges, and more, cause he was a top notch privateer! (And yes, he was known to actually light his own beard on fire to intimidate enemies—that’s crazy!) If you’d like to step into the shoes of this historical figure, all you’ll have to do is suit up in this top caliber costume. It’s made and designed by us here in our costume studios because, like you, we’re all about that pirate action every Halloween!

Suit up with swagger and get ready to count your bouillons when you go in this exclusive look. Styled as a jacket with a false faux leather vest attached, it includes all the signature touches to complete the style. (Except for the prop weapons. Ye will have to raid our pirate accessories page to stock up on those!) A jabot secures around the neck to look like a ruffled shirt, a faux leather bandolier and boot covers add a rugged touch, and a sash secures around the waist to tie the look together. The heavy woven jacket features screen printed details, brushed silver buttons, and false shirt cuffs attached at the wrist. Simply finish the style by wearing the included hat, and with a red scarf lining and attached feather, this felt hat will make you feel like real captain of the high seas. Keep your men in high spirits (and full of spirits too), and we’re sure your mission will be a success. But, you still might want to keep ye olde matches handy…
