We’ve all seen the shows from back then. The wife Stays at home and takes care of everything while the husband heads off to work. There’s always some sort of problem going on but she seems to solve it in about 45 minutes just in time for a final laugh and the credits to roll. Oh those were the times, weren’t they? Too bad it isn’t that easy anymore. We’re not sure we believe that’s how it worked back then but we do know that we have a lot of respect for those stay at home moms who weren’t on television though. They could have the house spotless, juggle a ton of kids to all the places they needed to be, have the laundry done, and still have time to put dinner on the table by the time their husband got home. That kind of diligence was happily accepted into the workforce once a few of us got over our egos.
