Victorian Small Black Top Hat

The Victorian era produced so many beautiful things. So much so, that steampunk has successfully fused the use of modern technology with the aesthetic of that time period. The chhhss-hmm-chhhss of the steam engine from an airship (bronze and red velvet, of course) is the stuff of dreams! Flying around, no rules but our own to obey. If only we could have an airship of our very own! Clockwork robots swabbing the deck. (We wouldn’t even mind when they broke down, we love to tinker!)

The beautiful floor length gowns, with their binding corsets, and the slightly off-center dainty hats with delicate lace veils, combined with steam-powered detachable wings. (We’d love a pair to fly around the warehouse, but our bosses vetoed that idea, mumbling something about insurance before they walked away!) We wouldn’t wait for Halloween to wear our outfit; instead we would just become pirates and take an airship, fly anywhere we wanted. We’d dub our new ship The Clockwork-Revenge!
