Spider in Glass Dome

For decades, biologists had heard rumors about a lineage of literate spiders. But most of the supposed proof of their existence consisted of secondhand accounts of cobwebs dangling from barn rafters.

Until now. This spider was spotted dragging a large stack of books across a moonlit field a few days ago. The farmer’s daughter who made the find immediately called our crack team of cryptozoologists, who sprung into action with some of the finest glass domes ever made. Expertly capturing the spider and its portable library, they returned to headquarters to make some notes. But while they were writing, so too was the spider!

Just yesterday, one of the team members saw the creature holding up a handwritten message. It read: I want to see the world. We thought we should try to find someone willing to house a Spider in Glass Dome like this so that our remarkable arachnid friend could have the chance to study abroad. Any takers? An opportunity like this doesn’t skitter along every day!
