Beer and brains, beer and braaaaaaaains…

We’re not sure when or why brains got added to the Oktoberfest menu along with beer, bratwurst, and wiener schnitzel, but they were. It must have been by popular demand as our large group of Germanic beer drinkers are simply chanting “brains” over and over. Oh well. Must be some new exciting thing? Exotic festival foods and all that. At least they know how to pair brain matter with a good lager.

Our “brain” chanting Oktoberfest friends are quite the crowd to hang with. They’re a bit loud and seem to have quite the appetites. They’re always quite festive in their outfits inspired by old German wear. Although now that you mention it, they do seem a bit ragged. It must be quite the party for all these dirndl and lederhosen to be as torn and stained as they are…. hey, why are their stains all red and gooey? Isn’t beer yellow?
