Description
Perhaps the single biggest misconception about monsters is that they have to look big and mean. We’ve been there: somebody asks what you’re going to be for Halloween, and you tell them. “A monster?” they say. “You?” And that makes you feel a little small inside. But it shouldn’t, because now we’re here to help!
See, we don’t know much about many things. But we know a lot about monsters! And becoming a monster-sized person just isn’t practical most of the time, unless you can find a way around the person-sized doorways in your everyday life. The world, it seems, wasn’t built for the comfort of creatures with huge feet for stomping and big, intimidating antlers for scratching monster-sized backs. We tend to think of that as faulty design, but that’s beside the point. Because no matter how small a monster might look, its real size is based on its personality!
So this might appear to be a person-sized monster costume, but the amount of color and character packed into it means that its true size is much bigger. The kooky-cute monster eyes and twirly horns on the laplander hat should make that clear, but we’ve thrown in some wooly monster paw-pieces and leg covers to make sure it’s obvious. The whole whimsical outfit is tied together by a bright pink ruffled top and cheery mesh miniskirt. If that doesn’t make your personality feel monster-sized enough, go ahead and add a matching wig or false eyelashes. Embrace your wild side!
