Surprisingly, Waldo isn’t all that easy to find. You think it would be easier since he’s wearing a bright white-and-red striped shirt, blue pants, black glasses, and matching stocking cap. You would think he’d stick out from a crowd. But he’s not that easy to find. There’s a whole book franchise built on the fact: Where’s Waldo?

What we want to know is why is everyone needs to find Waldo. What did he do that warrants book deals and everyone knowing exactly what he looks like? Is he in trouble with the law? Are we actually trying to help find a convict? Or is he a thief? Stealing away and trying to hide in the crowd, with the key to the vault in his pocket? Many of us are convinced he’s up to something and that’s why he’s so eager to blend in (and why it’s so important for us to find him). Others here in the office maintain that it’s all for fun. Like hide-and-seek.
