Why’d all that leather and studs suddenly get so popular in rock and metal? We’ve been hard at work studying this trend (which meant slacking off from our actual job, shh… Don’t tell boss man!) We’re proud to announce that we have finally narrowed it down to one totally epic reason. What is the most heavy metal thing in the world? That’s right, medieval knights decked out in super heavy armor. Some of those guys had spikes, studs…really whatever they could put on their armor to deal even more serious damage.

Thus we have a kick-butt inspiration for some sick rock and roll gear. Most people have replaced some of the metal armor parts with some leather, but you get the picture (We mean, have you ever tried shredding in a full suit of armor?).
