Why do we like Donkey so much? Well, because he’s not your typical donkey and we like things that are a little…odd. Not only does Donkey talk, but he also sings! Who could forget when Donkey sang karaoke or when he belted out Willie Nelson’s classic tune, “On the Road Again?” So he’s a bit hyperactive, but big deal, at least he’s entertaining. Well…sometimes he can be downright annoying because he rarely shuts up, but we can’t really get mad at that big toothy grin. Truth be told, Donkey has more funny characteristics than he does obnoxious characteristics. We especially get a kick out of his love for food, especially waffles because waffles are lip-smacking good. If you wouldn’t mind chowing down on a stack of waffles as the chatty, Donkey, then this is the costume for you!

This Donkey deluxe costume comes with a jumpsuit that features Velcro tabs in the back and a furry tail. Hooves are attached to the ends of the sleeves and the feet of the one-piece jumpsuit that is made to look like Donkey’s body, with the white belly and tan arms and legs. The character headpiece attaches easily underneath the chin with a Velcro tab. The headpiece is plush and features Donkey’s expressive eyes and his long ears. We recommend sitting down to eat a stack of waffles in this officially licensed Shrek costume or better yet, get out there and find a big green ogre to become friends with!
