Rorschach from The Watchmen is a scrappy and resourceful fighter. At 5’6” he’s not the most imposing figure, but he’s a capable boxer and improvises attacks based on his environment. In his quest to rid the earth of all scum he has implemented elevator shafts, toilets, drinking glasses, and even friar grease as weapons. He even took on an entire SWAT team using only a grappling gun, a can of hairspray, and a handful of black pepper. The guy’s like a deranged and deadly MacGyver.

But thanks to his clothes, Rorschach’s greatest weapon is his appearance. If we saw that pulsating black and white blob face beaming down on us we’d know our goose was cooked. In the comics his trench coat is all that Rorschach needs to cross the Antarctic, but that might say more about Rorschach’s determination than his choice in outerwear. And his hat, although no serving no real purpose, does look very spiffy.
