Remember when Anne Geddes baby portraits were all the rage? No? If you don’t know of or remember the name Anne Geddes, then we highly suggest you Google “famous photographers” (after purchasing this costume of course) and get a load of the most adorable art in the existence of nature and sound! Even if you don’t recognize the name, she’s the woman who, for few decades, have enchanted maternal women everywhere with candied visions of newborns in every fruit, vegetable, and flower variety imaginable. She made the birthday cards that cost more money than your aunt bothered to slip inside for you to spend on your bday, and the calendar that hung in practically every mom’s kitchen in the late ‘90s.

Anyway, what we’re trying to say is: Her work is adorable! And she manages to take babies, which are already adorable, and put them flowerpots and cabbages and pumpkins and make them even more adorable! Like, how is that even possible? Is she a human person? Or is she just a bunch of babies stacked on top of each other inside a trenchcoat, like that still-hilarious-admit-it scene from The Little Rascals?

We don’t know, and quite frankly, as long as she keeps making that adorable baby art, we don’t care! All we really care about is the fact that this Newborn Baby Pea in the Pod Costume looks like something straight out of one of her portraits, which, for those of us who love her work, is a dream true.
