We envy birds, but probably not for the reason that you might be thinking. Sure, we know that they can fly and some of them even have some pretty enticing songs, but we envy them because of the feathers. That’s right. The feathers. Those soft fluffy feathers! We just wish we could be covered in them just like those birds are. That’s probably not the reason that Native Americans used to wear decorative feathers in their clothing and jewelry (actually, different types had different meanings in many American Indian cultures), but that’s why we like them! And that’s why we like this feather necklace!

This Long Feather Native Necklace features tufts of feathers spread out in between wooden beads. The necklace has a long diameter and fits easily over any American Indian costume. We recommend pairing it with our various other tribal accessories to help create a look inspired by Native Americans, but only if you think that feathers (and birds) are awesome.
