It would continue to rise as though possessed by the very spirit of warfare, chasing down the American settlements, wreaking havoc on the neighborhood and ever seeking more victims. The legends argue how the Headless Horseman was eventually ended. Some believe his head was found and restored. Others believe he’d not end until he’d claimed a new one he especially liked for his own. And, of course, there are some who argue that the monster never left!
