We’re not talking just a couple days until they turn brown and mushy so you get grossed out, and finally toss them in the garbage. We’re talking about the ones you forgot in your gym locker freshman year, and now you’re on your final day as a senior. It’s still there, don’t worry. Scientists have been paid by the government to tell you that this browning process is cause by a chemical in the plant called ethylene, the same chemical that causes them to be ripe. Apparently we’re supposed to fall for the foolish idea that bananas can just get too ripe for its own good and fall apart. We know the truth. What actually happens is the bananas’ only dream in this world is to be eaten by you. It’s gruesome, we know, but that’s just how the little yellow dudes work. When they’re ignored, they get a little upset, and decide to fool around with a little voodoo magic, and slowly turn into zombies. We don’t speak fluent fruit (missed that class in college), but we’re pretty sure they’re convinced themselves that if you won’t eat them, they might as well eat you!

Thus they turn into this terrifying fiend of a fruit! Their brains rot out (who knew bananas had brains) and they start to walk the earth. Show your friends the dangers of killing your tropical food’s dreams with this sweet costume. Also open that gym locker a little more carefully next time…
