Everybody’s got to start somewhere, and that includes the Grim Reaper. That can’t be one of the easier jobs in the world. Oh sure, it’s skilled work that lets you appreciate the fruits of your labor immediately, but it’s also a mighty heavy workload, the hours are unpredictable, and almost nobody is happy to see you show up for a day on the job. That kind of thing takes a toll on a person. (Wait, is the Grim Reaper technically a person? Well, if not, we’re sure it takes a toll on whatever it is too.)

Still, it’s hard to argue with job security, which a Grim Reaper absolutely has. We’re not sure how it works, but he might even be appointed for life, which, again, we’re not completely certain he has. Still, even a Reaper has to retire some time, in which case he’s going to need an apprentice to take over. That’s where your kid comes in. For a youngster with a taste for the macabre, a tendency to dress in black, and the upper body strength to tote a scythe for long distances, this might just be the apprenticeship opportunity of a lifetime. Sure, there’s a lot of competition, but if you get in you’ve got it made.

This grim get-up features a polyester, long-sleeved robe with jagged hem and cuffs, a fabric belt, and a foam-brimmed hood that holds its shape. The spooky skull mask includes a foam inner-nose piece to keep everything securely in place. A pair of long black gloves provide a grim final touch. It’s just the right goulish gear for an up-and-coming young harvester of souls. You’ve got to dress for the job you want, after all!
