Adult CSI Costume

Look, we get it…after a couple of episodes about crime scene investigations, it’s pretty hard not to walk a room and spot all the things that could pose as clues for any crime imaginable. And yeah, sure…the regular CSI’s use their know-how and expertise in trying to solve stuff like murders, but that doesn’t mean you can’t use their tricks to help solve the mysteries of your everyday life, now does it?

We both know that Marla is alway going into your desk and nicking one or two Peanut M&M’s from the stash you keep in your drawer (the stash you keep for when you need to stress-eat! The stash you keep for YOURSELF!). And yeah, maybe before CSI, you would’ve just let it go (even though Marla probably makes more than you and could probably buy her OWN Peanut M&M’s, but that doesn’t ever seem to occur to her, does it?” So you binge-watch a few episodes, and the next thing you know, you’re dusting that drawer handle with baby power and using your scotch tape to lift off some prints. And when you walk over to Marla and “accidentally” press her hand into the stamp ink pad you bought the other day just for this very purpose, she won’t know what hit her! Sure, everyone else in the office might think you’re crazy for going to such extreme lengths just to show Marla that she should probably ask before she takes, but sometimes, when you’re CSI, you gotta use unorthodox methods to get the job done.

And you know what? If you’re going to go the distance, then you might as well go all the way by wearing this Adult CSI Costume. People might not take your seriously – heck, the police never take the real CSI seriously, but that never stops them, now does it? – but at least they’ll know better than to try to get away with an office crime while you’re around. Like that guy Steve in accounting, who always seems to have a way of losing your expense reports…
